Head of Fundraising

Public Sector People are working with a Not-for-Profit organisation who are seeking an experienced Head of Fundraising to play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s next phase of fundraising growth.

This is an opportunity to step into an established fundraising function with a strong foundation and significant potential to grow, you will help translate this strategy into action and provide leadership across the team.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading, developing and supporting a team of fundraising professionals
• Shaping and implementing the organisation’s fundraising strategy
• Identifying opportunities to grow revenue and diversify fundraising income
• Bringing a contemporary and strategic approach to fundraising
• Developing new donor markets, networks and philanthropic opportunities
• Building on existing relationships and strengthening the donor pipeline

You will be an experienced fundraising leader with a strong track record of delivering tangible fundraising outcomes.
We are particularly interested in people who bring deep fundraising expertise, rather than a background primarily in marketing, business development or relationship management. 

You will also bring:

• Proven experience leading a fundraising team or function
• Strong strategic fundraising capability
• A track record of growth and successful fundraising outcomes
• Experience developing major donor, philanthropic or corporate relationships
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify new opportunities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
