GIS Officer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated GIS Officer with ESRI experience to join our client, a leading local government organisation in Sydney committed to building a strong and vibrant community.

The Role:
In this exciting 6-month contract role, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and promoting the use of spatial information systems (GIS). You'll be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, resolving conflicts, and providing valuable GIS information to support effective decision-making.

Do you have:

• Proven experience working with GIS software ESRI.
• A strong ability to resolve data conflicts in a logical and consistent manner.
• A solid understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Local government experience (desired).
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus if you have experience with ESRI - map / data creation and maintenance, ARC GIS Online and Pathway - property module
