About the role:
This position will provide subject matter expertise pertaining to the development and delivery of GIS systems, troubleshooting of errors and problem solving of user issues. You'll be accountable for maintaining the delivery and accuracy of the core spatial datasets used by the GIS suite of products and providing expert advice and input into the strategic direction of GIS.

About the role:
This position will provide subject matter expertise pertaining to the development and delivery of GIS systems, troubleshooting of errors and problem solving of user issues. You'll be accountable for maintaining the delivery and accuracy of the core spatial datasets used by the GIS suite of products and providing expert advice and input into the strategic direction of GIS.
Duties include:
- Developing and maintaining the GIS data library.
- Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving data quality issues across core GIS datasets.
- Maintaining user access and security for designated application systems.
- Undertaking the installation of application system upgrades fixes and patches.
- Assisting in developing, building and delivering new solutions with in GIS Suite of Products (Intramaps, mapbuilder, FME, QGIS, ROAM).
- Providing expert advice and input into the scoping, development, build and delivery of new and existing GIS projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in developing and delivering solutions within GIS environments. (Intramaps/QGIS/MapInfo preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in using ETL processes and tools such as FME.
- Experience in identifying, investigating and resolving errors within complex GIS systems.
- Experience in creating, extracting, querying and analysing data in SQL database environments.
- Demonstrated capacity to generate map products and analysis from user generated requests.
- Ability to manage the complete lifecycle of a project.
