Public Sector People are working with a regional NSW council who are seeking an experienced
Fleet Management Coordinator
to oversee the coordination and management of Council’s fleet operations.
Work in a beautiful region of NSW for 3 months! This role plays a key part in ensuring Council’s fleet and plant assets are procured, managed and maintained effectively, while supporting operational teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the procurement, disposal and operational management of fleet and plant assets
- Develop specifications and manage fleet-related procurement and contracts
- Monitor fleet performance and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Assist with fleet strategy, capital planning and replacement programs
- Monitor and manage fleet budgets and internal hire rates
- Support incident investigations involving fleet and plant assets
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in fleet management or plant management
- Experience with procurement processes, tender documentation and contracts
- Strong understanding of whole-of-life asset costing and fleet planning
- Experience managing budgets and capital programs
An
IPWEA Fleet Management Certificate (or similar)
and
Local Government experience
will be highly regarded.
