Public Sector People have partnered with a local council in Sydney who are seeking a highly experienced Financial Consultant to join them. This is an initial 12-month contract with a view to becoming permanent.
Location: Sydney
Rate: $90-$100ph + super
Start date: Flexible for right candidate
In this role, you will take full responsibility for the year end process, from planning through to audit. You will be managing capital works, legislation and financial reporting requirements as well as internally managing indirect staff to ensure deadlines are met.
About you:
- Strong year-end experience.
- 5-6 years financial experience, with 3 of these in a similar role.
- Local government experience.
- Proven ability to deliver year-end outcomes.
- Ideally, familiarity with TechOne systems.
- Willingness to work on-site for busy periods.
