Redland City Council is seeking an experienced Field Officer (Parks & Conservation) to join the team in Thornlands.
This is a hands-on role supporting the maintenance of parks, conservation areas, roadsides, and streetscapes across the Redlands Coast.

Hours:
6:30am – 3:45pm
Key duties: - Undertake parks, grounds and natural area maintenance
- Complete horticultural, arboricultural and landscaping works
- Operate and maintain a range of plant, tools and equipment
- Carry out physically demanding outdoor maintenance tasks
- Identify and report maintenance and safety issues
- Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality Council services
Requirements: - Current Class C Driver Licence – mandatory
- Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work
- Strong understanding of safe work practices
Highly regarded: - Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent
- Certificate III in Arboriculture
- Landscape Construction, including Playground Inspector – Level 2
- Conservation and Land Management, Fire Management or equivalent
