Public Sector People are partnering with a Sydney based local council to recruit for a Senior Building Surveyor on a 3-5 month contract.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and determine complex building applications, construction certificates, and compliance matters
- Undertake inspections of building works to ensure compliance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, NCC, relevant Australian Standards, and Council policies
- Provide high-level technical advice to council staff, applicants, certifiers, and the community
- Degree qualification in Building Surveying, Building, Construction, or a related discipline
- Registration or accreditation as a Building Surveyor / Certifier (NSW compliant)
- Must have working knowledge of Fire Safety regulations and compliances
