Public Sector People are seeking an Environmental Health Officer on a 3-month contract with opportunity to extend (opportunity of direct appointment)

Overview:

ASAP START | Environmental Health Officer
North Brisbane - Caboolture
Attractive pay rates from $40-$55 p/h + super (PAYG)
Initial 3-month contract + extension / direct appointment
9 day fortnight

Here are the details of the role:

Provide specialist advice and support to management and staff regarding environmental health matters.
Identify, investigate and report breaches of state and local laws concerning food safety, environmental protection, permitted business and other matters in a professional manner.
Assess and administer applications for licenses, approvals, renewals and transfers related to State legislation and local laws.

What we are looking for:

Relevant qualifications and experience eg. Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health)
Experience in Local Council or State government is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proactive mindset and approach, with the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
