Environmental Health Officer

Public Sector People are partnering with City of Sydney Council to recruit for an Environmental Health Officer.

Contract: 5 month contract | Immediate Start
Competitive hourly rate: $45.18 - $61 p/h + Super depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Investigate and resolve general and sometimes detailed regulatory environmental and public health issues while achieving timely, high quality outcomes.
Take appropriate enforcement actions to deal effectively with environmental and public health issues, considering the situation, the significance of the matter and the legislative options.
Manage large, varied and detailed work loads of environmental health matters concurrently.
Provide technical advice to other staff within the team, including review of proposed enforcement and correspondence.

Essential:

Bachelor of Science degree qualifications in Applied Science (Environmental Health or equivalent).
Minimum 12 months experience in an Environmental Health Officer role or similar
