3-Month Contract | ASAP Start | South-West Council Location
We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive EA Support Officer to join a dedicated team within a local council in Melbourne’s south-west. In this busy and rewarding role, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Director, Sustainable Communities, ensuring the smooth operation of daily priorities and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive executive support including meeting coordination, diary management, and briefing preparation
  • Draft high-quality correspondence, briefing notes, reports and presentations
  • Support internal and external stakeholder engagement with professionalism and discretion
  • Coordinate service requests and assist with project-related administrative tasks
  • Maintain and improve office systems, records and databases
  • Provide front-line customer service support including call handling and visitor reception
  • Work independently and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
About You:
  • Proven experience in an Executive Assistant or high-level administration role within a complex organisation – local government or state government experience
  • Confident in stakeholder engagement, project coordination and administrative support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft complex documentation
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Advanced computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a flexible and solution-focused mindset
  • A passion for supporting community outcomes and contributing to positive, inclusive environments
