Job Description: As a Drainage Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Council specifications for Onsite Stormwater Detention (OSD) designs and drainage connections. You will conduct thorough site inspections and provide clear and timely advice to internal departments, developers, consultants, contractors, and the community on drainage matters. Additionally, you will offer technical support to senior engineers and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
Job Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with Council specifications for OSD designs and drainage connections.
- Strong knowledge of Onsite Stormwater Detention (OSD) systems, pumps, Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) elements, flood levels, and Legal Point of Discharge (LPD).
- Excellent communication skills to provide effective advice and information to various stakeholders.
- The ability to offer technical support and guidance to colleagues and project teams.
- Proficiency in updating and maintaining accurate records in a CRM system.
