You will provide technical leadership across complex application environments, guide development teams and vendors and ensure digital solutions are delivered to the highest standards of quality, security and performance.
About the Role
Reporting to the Digital Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the development, support and continuous improvement of enterprise application platforms across the organisation.
- Define and govern application architecture standards to ensure scalable, secure solutions.
- Oversee delivery of complex digital and application projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, including code review and development guidance.
- Manage vendors, contractors and consultants, including procurement and contract negotiations.
- Contribute to digital strategy and innovation through awareness of emerging technologies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver user-focused digital solutions.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on technical expertise, including advanced full-stack .NET, SQL Server and enterprise web application development.
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise platforms such as MS Dynamics, SharePoint and middleware applications.
- Proven experience designing and governing application solution architecture.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing development teams, consultants and vendors.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, customer journeys and digital product delivery.
- Well-developed analytical, written and advisory skills, including experience developing business cases.
