Digital Communications Officer – Contract Opportunity

We are looking for a digitally savvy communications professional who is passionate about creating engaging online content, improving digital experiences, and delivering customer-focused outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Please note that this role focuses on website management and creation and NOT digital content creation
The Opportunity In this role, you will support the delivery of digital communications strategies and online content initiatives to improve engagement and user experience. You will work collaboratively across internal teams and stakeholders to develop, structure and manage website content while ensuring digital best practice, accessibility and compliance standards are met.
Do you have - Tertiary qualifications in digital marketing, communications, media or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a similar digital communications role
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and strict deadlines autonomously
- A customer-centric mindset and ability to operate effectively within a complex environment
- Strong understanding of current online and digital strategies, trends and best practice
- Demonstrated experience in website content management, digital design and improving online user experiences
- Experience in analytics, SEO and digital reporting
- Knowledge of copyright, accessibility standards and relevant legislation
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
- A valid Working with Children Check
(or the ability to obtain one)
Desirable Experience
- Facilitation and training experience or qualifications
- Demonstrated project management capability
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
