Public Sector People are partnering with multiple local government organisations to recruit for several Development Engineer temporary positions. Contracts range from 3-6 months with potential to extend.

Senior Development Engineer

$75 - $85 p/h + Super
Minimum 5 years experience in a Development Engineer position or similar
Local government experience will be highly regarded

Development Engineer

$65 - $75 p/h + Super
Minimum 2-3 years experience in a Development Engineer position or similar
Local government experience will be highly regarded

Responsibilities:

Assessment of development application referrals in drainage and flooding to successfully meet KPIs
Review and provide expert engineering advice on Development Applications, including assessing drainage and flooding designs, and recommending conditions of consent where necessary.
Liaise with internal and external customers with regards to development applications
