Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Development Assessment Administrator.
  
Contract: 3 months + | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $45 + p/h + Super
  
Responsibilities: 
  • Provide administrative support to the Development Assessment team, including processing applications, correspondence and documentation in accordance with Council procedures.
  • Register and maintain Development Applications (DAs), Complying Development Certificates (CDCs) and related planning records within Council's electronic systems.
  • Liaise with applicants, consultants, government agencies and internal stakeholders to facilitate the progression of development applications.
  • Respond to customer enquiries regarding application requirements, assessment processes, application status and Council policies via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.
  • Prepare, distribute and maintain statutory notices, correspondence, reports and other documentation required under relevant planning legislation.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping, data entry and document management to support compliance, reporting requirements and efficient service delivery outcomes.

  
Essential:
  • 2+ years experience in an development assessment administration support role within local government or working in a politically sensitive environment
  • Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
