Customer Service Officer

We're recruiting two Customer Service Officers to join a busy, purpose-driven organisation based in Perth. These are full-time temporary opportunities, ideal for experienced customer service professionals who enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage a high volume of enquiries.

As the first point of contact, you'll provide professional, empathetic and respectful support while ensuring enquiries are resolved efficiently and accurately.

The Opportunity

Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll be responsible for:

• Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Providing accurate information on services, programs and processes.
• Managing a high volume of enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Handling sensitive or challenging conversations with confidence.
• Processing applications and maintaining accurate records.
• Completing data entry and general administrative tasks.
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure enquiries are resolved efficiently.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

• Previous customer service and call centre experience.
• Strong administration and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to confidently manage difficult conversations.

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A professional, empathetic and customer-focused approach.

Experience within community services, the not-for-profit sector or working with diverse communities will be highly regarded.
