Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Customer Service Officer.
Contract: 3 months + | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $40 p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls from residents about waste, rates, parking, permits, and general council enquiries.
- Log requests and complaints accurately in council systems such as Pathway, TechOne or CRM.
- Provide clear information on council processes, timeframes, and service updates.
- Escalate complex matters to the correct team or officer and follow up when required.
- Process service requests, update customer records, and ensure each enquiry is resolved or directed appropriately.
Essential:
- 2+ years experience in an customer service role within local government or working in a politically sensitive environment
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
