Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Customer Service Officer.
Contract: 3 - 6 months | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $37 - $40 p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality customer service via counter, phone, webchat, and correspondence.
- Provide technical advice on town planning, building, engineering, waste, traffic, rates, law enforcement, and environmental health.
- Handle enquiries, complaints, and service requests by identifying needs and responding appropriately.
- Welcome and assist customers in line with KPIs, resolving conflicts calmly and effectively.
- Act as the first point of contact, gathering information or referring to relevant Council departments.
Essential:
- Experience within council.
- Previous experience with TechOne or Twilio is a must.
