City of Moreton Bay is seeking experienced Construction Labourers to join their Civil Services team in Narangba. This temp role will see you working on a variety of civil construction and maintenance projects, contributing to the delivery of essential community infrastructure.

City of Moreton Bay is seeking experienced Construction Labourers to join their Civil Services team in Narangba. This temp role will see you working on a variety of civil construction and maintenance projects, contributing to the delivery of essential community infrastructure.
What's on Offer?
- $33.38 per hour + Super
- Monday to Friday roster
- 6:30am – 3:30pm
- Start Date: Monday, 8 June 2026
- End Date: Friday, 28 August 2026
- Potential for contract extension
- Opportunity to work with a leading local council
As part of the Civil Services team, you will:
- Perform labouring duties across civil construction and maintenance projects
- Assist with drainage and stormwater works
- Undertake trenching, pipe laying, backfilling and general construction activities
- Operate and work around plant and equipment safely
- Maintain tools, equipment and PPE
- Contribute to a safe and productive team environment
- Work effectively with supervisors, team members and the public
- Current MR Driver's Licence
- Current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Demonstrated experience in civil construction and maintenance works
- Ability to work safely within a construction environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Current Tetanus Vaccination
- Stormwater and drainage installation experience
- Experience laying stormwater pipes (375mm diameter or similar)
- Experience working around rollers and other civil construction plant
- Local government experience
