Public Sector People
is partnering with a local council in Sydney to recruit for an experienced Community Engagement Officer to join their team on a contract basis.
In this role, you will: - Play a key role in developing and implementing engaging communication strategies
- Contribute to the development and delivery of Community and Stakeholder Engagement Plans
- Manage and monitor engagement activities, ensuring effective communication across all channels
- Analyse and evaluate engagement outcomes to measure success and inform future strategies
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Do you have: - Proven experience in community engagement, consultation, and communications.
- IAP2 certificate
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work with diverse communities, showing cultural awareness and empathy.
- Project management and research capabilities.
