Public Sector People are currently seeking experienced Civil Labourer/ Drivers (MR) on a temporary basis.

This role will support road and drainage maintenance operations, requiring an experienced truck driver with a strong background in civil construction and maintenance environments.

Position Details

Rate: $42.34/hr
Dates: ASAP - 16 Oct 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am start


Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate trucks for road construction and maintenance works
• Assist with cleaning and repair of drainage structures, road pavements, footpaths and kerb & gutter works
• Complete daily vehicle pre-start checks and routine maintenance
• Operate minor plant and equipment as required

Requirements:

• Current MR Driver Licence (mandatory)
• Experience driving trucks within civil construction and maintenance environments
• Experience operating minor plant
