We are looking for an experienced
City Compliance Business Support Officer
to join one of our valued local government clients in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. This is a great opportunity to step into a busy and supportive council environment where your customer service and administrative skills will make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver excellent customer service over the phone and via email
- Process animal registrations
- Assist with administrative support across other lines of business such as Local Laws, School Crossings, Litter and Noise etc when required
- Provide basic technical advice and escalate complex matters where required
- Prepare clear and concise correspondence
- Assist with general administrative duties as directed
About You: - Previous experience working within a local council environment (essential)
- Strong background in customer service and administration
- Experience using Property and Rating systems (highly desirable)
- Understanding of legislation relating to compliance functions (desirable)
- Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
