Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Business Support Officer.
Contract: 3 months | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $45 p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
- Digitising physical documents by preparing, scanning and converting them into electronic files.
- Checking scanned images to ensure accuracy and quality as part of the overall QA process.
- Maintaining up‑to‑date records of file locations and ensuring information is stored correctly.
- Supporting Council compliance by ensuring digital conversions and record retention meet legislative and organisational requirements.
- Assisting with general Records Management tasks as needed or directed by the Supervisor, Information Management.
Essential:
- 2+ years experience in an administration support role within local government or working in a politically sensitive environment
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
