Public Sector People (PSP) are partnered with councils in the northern and western suburbs to recruit a Building Support Officer for a 3-month temporary contract.Duration:

Rate:
$40-47 per hour plus super
Hours:
38 hours per week
Working within the Building department, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the team.
Key Responsibilities: - Providing general administrative support including word processing, data entry and managing telephone enquiries
- Processing Building Permit applications
- Assisting with the preparation of building reports and related correspondence
- Responding to internal and external enquiries in a timely and professional manner, in line with Council policies and procedures
- Recording and registering information within Council’s System.
- Generating requisitions and authorising payments in accordance with Council's policy.
Key Criteria: - Demonstrated experience within building or planning services (essential)
- Public Sector experience is highly desirable
- Strong administrative and customer service skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail
