About the Role
The Assets Manager will lead the organisation’s asset management function, overseeing the planning, performance, and lifecycle management of major infrastructure assets. The role plays a critical part in supporting capital works delivery, flood recovery outcomes, and sustainable long‑term infrastructure investment.
  
Key Accountabilities
  • Strategic and operational management of infrastructure and asset portfolios
  • Oversight of roads, bridges, drainage, buildings, and public infrastructure assets
  • Development and continuous improvement of Asset Management Plans (AMPs) and systems
  • Support delivery of recovery, reconstruction, and resilience programs
  • Alignment of asset planning with capital works programs and long‑term financial planning
  • Management of state and federal funding programs, including compliance and reporting
  • Asset lifecycle planning, condition assessment, and risk‑based prioritisation
