Public Sector People is partnering with Local Government organisations across Victoria to build a talent pool of experienced Asset Protection, Asset Consent, Asset Inspection and Asset Surveillance professionals for upcoming temporary and contract opportunities.

Whether your expertise is in permit administration, civil infrastructure inspections, compliance, asset protection or contractor monitoring, we'd love to hear from you.
We regularly recruit for roles including:

• Asset Protection Officer
• Asset Consent Officer
• Asset Permits Officer
• Asset Inspection Officer
• Asset Surveillance Officer

Typical responsibilities include:

• Conducting pre and post-construction asset inspections
• Assessing damage to roads, footpaths, kerb and channel and drainage assets
• Managing Asset Protection, Vehicle Crossing and Road Reserve permits
• Monitoring contractor reinstatement works and ensuring compliance
• Investigating defects, customer requests and permit breaches
• Working with developers, builders, utilities and contractors
• Maintaining accurate inspection records using GIS and asset systems
• Ensuring compliance with the Road Management Act and Council standards

We're looking for professionals with:

• Local Government or civil infrastructure experience
• Knowledge of Asset Protection, Asset Consent or Road Reserve permits
• Experience undertaking civil infrastructure inspections
• Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with GIS, TechnologyOne, Pathway or similar systems is desirable
