Asset Manager

Full-time | For-purpose organisation | $110-130k + super + benefits

A for-purpose organisation is seeking an Asset Manager to support the ongoing management and optimisation of an established property portfolio.

This is a hands-on role focused on asset data integrity, lifecycle planning, and supporting capital works forecasting. You’ll play a key part in ensuring asset information is accurate and up to date, enabling informed decisions around maintenance, replacement, and investment.

The Role

Working across a live operational environment, you will be responsible for maintaining asset registers, overseeing asset tagging, and supporting the transition of assets through their lifecycle.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and contractors to ensure assets are maintained in line with compliance requirements, with a particular focus on environments where continuity of service is critical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and continuously update asset registers and system data
  • Oversee asset tagging and ensure accurate capture of asset information
  • Support lifecycle planning, including end-of-life decision making (repair vs replace)
  • Contribute to capital works forecasting and budget planning
  • Ensure compliance-related asset data is accurate and audit-ready
  • Liaise with contractors to scope and support works as required
  • Identify gaps in data and processes and support system improvements
About You

You will be a practical, detail-oriented asset professional who enjoys working close to the data but understands the operational impact behind it.

You’re comfortable working in environments where assets are critical to day-to-day operations, and bring a balanced approach to maintenance, compliance, and cost.

Experience Required
  • Experience in asset management, property, facilities, or a similar environment
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle principles and capital planning
  • Experience maintaining asset registers and working with asset systems
  • Exposure to contractor engagement and scope development
  • Ability to interpret asset data and translate it into practical actions
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
Why Apply
  • Broad, hands-on role with real influence on asset performance
  • Opportunity to shape processes and improve system capability
  • Stable organisation with a clear operational focus
