We are looking for an
Asset Management Systems Officer
to join our client on a 3-month temporary contract to assist with a backlog of capitalising projects onto their systems.

The Opportunity
Working as part of a dedicated and supportive Asset Management team, the Asset Management Systems Officer will play a key role in strengthening data governance, system optimisation and financial asset reporting. You will support the organisation’s long-term financial and asset planning by improving data quality, developing documentation, and providing meaningful analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities - Be responsible for undertaking capitalisation duties in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Develop new Standard Operating Procedures to support consistent systems and data management practices for repetitive and routine asset processes.
- Contribute to the analysis of asset datasets that inform long-term financial modelling for infrastructure renewal and replacement.
- Participate in regular meetings with various Asset Planning Teams to provide system, data and reporting insights.
- Analyse asset datasets to draw insights and assist teams in driving data-led decisions.
- Prepare and manage financial data from the Asset Management System to meet Finance Unit requirements, including monthly depreciation, annual fair value assessments, asset revaluations and year-end audit needs.
- Actively participate in organisational projects with an asset-management focus, ensuring data accuracy and clear system integration.
- Support the management and enhancement of interfaces into Brightly, collaborating with system owners and IT teams.
- Produce written reports and manipulate data through SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), making reports globally accessible to relevant stakeholders.
