Logan City Council is seeking an experienced Arboricultural Team Member to support its tree maintenance and removal operations.

This is a great temporary opportunity for someone with practical arboriculture experience who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and operating plant and equipment.

Key Details:

Location: Logan Central, QLD
Pay Rate: $42.96 per hour
Engagement: Casual / Temporary
Dates: ASAP Start – 31 March 2027
Hours: 6:30 am – 3:30 pm

About the Role:

Carry out ground-based tree maintenance and removal activities.
Safely operate plant, machinery and associated equipment.
Support arboricultural operations and maintain safe work sites.

What You'll Need:

Current MR Driver Licence (essential).
Relevant tertiary qualifications.
Demonstrated experience in ground-based tree maintenance or removal.
Ability to safely and competently operate relevant plant and equipment.
Woodchipper operation, chainsaw and traffic management tickets are desirable.
Vaccination requirements (Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus and Q fever.)
