Public Sector People are seeking a
Program Manager
to join a critical business transformation initiative within a state government infrastructure division.
You'll be a key part of the Contractor Management Improvement (CMI) Program, a multi-year effort to enhance how contractors deliver building, construction, and maintenance services for a vast asset portfolio.
This is a unique opportunity to act as a subject matter expert in business improvement and contract management, leading the analysis and reform required for the program's initial phase.
Key Duties:
- Lead analysis
of current contractor management practices to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for significant reform.
- Design and support
the development of a future model that strengthens safety, performance, and overall risk management.
- Collaborate and engage
with diverse stakeholders to build consensus and gain buy-in for practical reforms.
- Provide authoritative advice
to senior leaders and delivery partners through briefings, workshops, and targeted engagement.
- Drive program outcomes
by monitoring progress, providing a feedback loop, and ensuring continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships
across the organization to support program objectives.
About You:
You are a hands-on, solution-oriented professional with a proven ability to drive tangible results and manage change through influence. You are an excellent communicator and problem-solver, skilled at conveying complex ideas to a diverse audience and managing competing demands effectively.
Highly regarded skills include:
- Experience in business transformation or improvement.
- Experience in infrastructure contract management, procurement, or government infrastructure delivery.
- A background working in complex public sector environments.
