Public Sector People are recruiting for an experienced AO7 Principal Procurement Officer on behalf of a State Government Department. As a Procurement Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our procurement strategies, providing expert guidance, and fostering strong relationships across the organisation.

Key Outcomes and Accountabilities: - Provide expert advice
to staff at all levels on planning and conducting procurement processes, with a particular focus on high-value and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and support
the business in undertaking complex procurement processes, including developing and reviewing significant procurement plans, go-to-market documents, evaluation plans, evaluation reports, and contract management plans.
- Drive the implementation of strategic procurement planning, including the development and execution of annual Agency Procurement Plans.

The successful client must be located in Brisbane and available to start ASAP.
State Government experience is highly desired.
