Public Sector People are working with a State Government Organisation based in Brisbane CBD who have seeking an
AO6 Senior Injury Management Advisor
to join their
People, Capability and Culture team
on a short term contract.
Reporting to the
Principal Consultant, Injury Management, you will be a key member of the team working closely with other members of the HSW team.
The role: - Senior Injury Management Advisor – A06
- ASAP START | High Profile State Government Department
- Pay up to $83.32 per hour + 12% super | Paid weekly!
- Brisbane CBD | WFH up to two days per week
- Initial contract 30th June 2026 + extension
What you will be doing: - Lead and facilitate case management providing expert rehabilitation and return to work advice and case management services to ill and injured workers and maintain corresponding case files as required workers compensation legislation
- Coordinate efficient and effective return to work strategies for ill and injured staff or reasonable adjustment requirements with a view to progressing timely outcomes, enhanced injury management performance and improvement in safety culture.
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as WorkCover, QSuper, medical and legal practitioners and occupational service providers in the management of cases for the safe return to work of injured workers and/or case closure. As part of claim management support common law interaction, where required, with the insurer or their representative in consultation with the Principal Consultant, Injury Management.
- Review and update injury and illness management policies, procedures and intranet content to provide current information to stakeholders.

- High-level of personal accountability for achieving organisational objectives, driving team performance, and delivering high-quality outcomes, while maintaining a commitment to professional and self-development.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of best practice injury and illness management processes, workers' compensation legislation, and their strategic application within a complex organisation.
