Public Sector People are working with a government organisation within Brisbane who are seeking an AO6 Senior Human Resources Advisor on a three month contract (with opportunity to extend).

This role is critical to the team at the moment as they are leading the transition of services from one payroll/HR service provider to another and finalising activities in establishing the organisation's HR services as a statutory body.

Pay up to $84 per hour + 12% super

Contract length: Initial 3 month contract contract + extension

The role will be focusing on these areas:

Support the transition to a new payroll service provider, including readiness activities, workflow development, stakeholder coordination, communication/reporting and change support.
Provide timely, pragmatic HR advice to leaders and employees across the employee lifecycle (e.g., workforce matters, performance, conduct and workplace change).
Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and governance to meet statutory and industrial requirements.
Partner with stakeholders to build HR capability and embed a high-performance culture through sound people practices, coaching and constructive feedback.
