Public Sector People are working with a government organisation within Brisbane who are seeking an AO6 Senior Human Resources Advisor on a six month contract (with opportunity to extend).

Benefits:

Pay from $78 per hour + 12% super
Location: Brisbane City
Flexible WFH options
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: Initial 6 month contract contract + extension
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The role will be focusing on these areas:

Providing advice, verbal and written, to management and employees on a broad range of HR matters, including but not limited to payroll and leave entitlements, recruitment and retention, health, safety and wellbeing, employment contracts and conditions, workforce planning, industrial relations as well as, performance management.
Maintaining knowledge and awareness of current HR practices and systems, industrial instruments and emerging trends to ensure effective systems and processes, compliance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Analysing workforce data and contemporary HR practice to develop and implement strategic and operational HR management initiatives as well as undertaken and contribute to organisational reporting.
Supporting staff management through the effective implementation of performance development and management practices and grievance and conflict resolution processes.
