are proud to be partnering with a State Government department to recruit an AO5 Graphic Designer to support the delivery of high-quality visual communications across a range of programs and initiatives.
This role is responsible for producing creative, accurate and on-brand design solutions that support communication strategies and campaign outcomes. Working closely with communications and digital teams, you will ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and effectively engages target audiences.
You will contribute to a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining a strong attention to detail and design quality.
This is a 12 month temporary contract opportunity through to June 2027, offering exposure to impactful public sector communication initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:
- Designing visual assets across print and digital channels, including infographics, brochures, reports, social media graphics and web content
- Interpreting briefs and translating them into engaging and accessible visual concepts
- Ensuring all creative outputs align with brand guidelines and accessibility requirements
- Managing multiple design projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to refine messaging and visual execution
- Preparing files for digital publication and print production
- Maintaining design templates and contributing to brand consistency across materials
- Supporting campaign development through creative input and execution
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design within a corporate, agency or public sector environment
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visual formats
- High attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience designing for both print and digital channels
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design (desirable)
- Relevant qualifications in graphic design or visual communication (desirable)
- $69-75 per hour + super
- 12 month temporary contract within State Government
