A05 Infrastructure Business Services Officer on behalf of a State Government Department. This role is a temporary position with potential for extension. The Business Services Team provides high quality administrative and infrastructure development project support to a growing project and Department.
About the role:
As an A05 Infrastructure Support Project Officer, you will engage in administrative and project support to analyse, design, review, and implement new and existing infrastructure programs. You will provide expert advice to clients on division services and assist directors and managers with guidance on infrastructure, planning, and asset management issues for departmental stakeholders. The role requires flexibility to work across various teams and units within the division, reporting to the designated Manager.

- Full Time Position - 38 Hours per week
- No Weekend Work - Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities: - Planning and Implementation: Lead high-level planning to modernise and optimise infrastructure facilities across Queensland.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with teams to create innovative solutions for infrastructure, planning, asset management, and project services.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in preparing and analysing data for regular, accurate reporting on related activities.
- Operational and Governance Support: Manage operational issues to meet timelines, and provide secretariat support for project governance, including preparing Ministerial briefings and reports.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Maintain communication with stakeholders, contribute to best practices, and assist in developing policies and procedures for related activities.
About You: - Previous Government experience in Local, State or Federal Government desirable
- Experience with Pathway, Microsoft Suite, Work Order Systems, GIS and DMS desirable
- Ability to quickly and accurately navigate multiple systems
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
