About the Role
Sitting within the General Ledger and Reporting team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reconciliation services to internal customers. Your work will directly support compliance with accounting standards and the integrity of general ledger records.
You will be responsible for a broad range of operational finance activities, working alongside a collaborative team and providing trusted advice to clients and colleagues alike.

About the Role
Sitting within the General Ledger and Reporting team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reconciliation services to internal customers. Your work will directly support compliance with accounting standards and the integrity of general ledger records.
You will be responsible for a broad range of operational finance activities, working alongside a collaborative team and providing trusted advice to clients and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial correspondence and documentation
- Undertake accruals, reconciliations and end-of-month journals
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, registers and prepayments
- Manage daily banking tasks and bank statement transaction clearing
- Conduct cashflow reporting and maintain various financial registers
- Manage open item processes within SAP
- Provide accurate advice to clients on financial management policies, procedures and systems
- Undertake research and investigation into general ledger issues and implement effective solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes to enhance service delivery
- Solid knowledge of financial management legislation, policies and accounting standards
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities with a results-driven approach
- Sound analytical and investigative skills with demonstrated judgement in decision-making
- A collaborative and innovative mindset, actively contributing to team improvement and change
