Pay Rate: $50.37 per hour plus super
The Project Support Officer provides high-level support services to project managers and team members on road infrastructure projects. You will provide administrative and project support to enhance the timely and effective delivery of project/s, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies, and procedures.
Your Core Responsibilities: - High-Level Administration: Provide comprehensive administrative support, including coordinating team meetings, taking and distributing minutes, preparing documents and reports, establishing and maintaining spreadsheets/regisers, and providing timely information and presentations.
- Project and Financial Support: Assist with financial approval documentation, contract administration systems, and procurement-related activities. This includes preparing procurement documentation, liaising with external parties, and assisting with tender processes in alignment with departmental governance frameworks.
- Documentation Management: Accurately compile, track, and record all infrastructure project documentation, following up to ensure timely delivery and approvals within set timeframes.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure operational practices and standards of service comply with departmental and regional policies, relevant legislation (including WH&S), and all governance obligations.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Microsoft 365 Mastery:
High level of competency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Procurement Knowledge:
A basic knowledge and understanding of procurement, with experience in procurement or finance within an infrastructure environment being highly desirable.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Proven ability to maintain effective communication and strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and contacts.
- Ethical Decision-Making:
Ability to embrace new ideas and innovation, making considered, ethical, and courageous decisions based on insight into the broader program context.
