AO3 Project Management Support Officer
Temporary Contract | Full-Time Casaul | $51.12 per hour + super

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AO3 Project Management Support Officer to provide high-level administrative and operational support to project teams within a busy government environment.
This role is ideal for a highly organised professional who enjoys supporting projects, managing competing priorities and ensuring business operations run smoothly. You will play a key role in coordinating documentation, financial processes, reporting and stakeholder communication to support the successful delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and project support to management and project teams
• Coordinate confidential correspondence, briefing notes and project documentation
• Administer procurement, purchasing, invoicing and financial reconciliation processes
• Maintain records, databases, document management systems and correspondence tracking systems
• Compile, analyse and prepare reports as required
• Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and provide secretariat support
• Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage competing priorities and support project delivery outcomes
• Assist with process improvements and adapt to new systems and technologies

About you

• Proven experience in project support, business support or administration roles
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting project managers and project teams
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy across documentation and reporting
• Ability to work autonomously and use initiative to solve problems
• Experience with financial administration, procurement and records management processes
• Positive, adaptable and team-oriented approach

Mandatory requirements

• Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence (or equivalent)
• Ability to undertake a criminal history check
• Willingness to travel as required for operational needs
