Public Sector People are recruiting for an experienced AO3 Finance Support Officer on behalf of a State Government Department.

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end invoice processing in TechnologyOne/Finance One, providing first-level support to staff, managing system access and maintenance (primarily in ExpenseMe Pro), and responding to operational finance enquiries. This is a 6-month temporary opportunity with the potential for extension depending on the outcome of an internal finance structure review.

Role Responsibilities and Key Duties:

As the AO3 Finance Support Officer, you will have responsibility for the following:
  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently within TechnologyOne/Finance One.
  • Manage inbox and triage operational finance and system queries from staff.
  • Provide first-level support and advice to internal stakeholders on finance systems and procedures.
  • Maintain and update user access and configuration within ExpenseMe Pro.
  • Support system users with technical and process issues across financial operations.
  • Assist in resolving day-to-day finance processing and system-related issues.
  • Participate in a collaborative, fast-paced team with a diverse workload.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial support and service delivery.
About you:
  • Prior experience in a financial operations or finance support role within Government or a similar setting.
  • Proficiency in TechnologyOne/Finance One and ExpenseMe Pro (ProMaster) is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to support internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy inbox and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A flexible team player who can adapt to changing priorities and contribute to a high-performing team.
