AO2 Administration Officer
to join
a Sunshine Coast State Government Department in a temporary backfill role.
This hybrid position will provide a mix of
administrative and project support, while also assisting with financial and procurement processes. It’s a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive professional who enjoys variety and is looking to contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects across Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative assistance, including preparing correspondence, briefing notes, and documentation.
- Support meetings with secretariat functions such as agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Assist with procurement processes, raise purchase orders, and process payments.
- Monitor and reconcile financial data and maintain accurate records for assets and equipment.
- Update and maintain project systems, document management tools, and correspondence tracking systems.
- Compile and analyse data to support reporting and decision-making.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Contribute to a safe, ethical, and collaborative workplace in line with TMR policies.
About You To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in an administrative or project support role (government or infrastructure experience highly regarded).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Confidence working with systems, data, and financial processes.
- A White Card
(or willingness to obtain one) to enable occasional site visits.
