Public Sector People are partnering with a local council in Melbourne's northern suburbs to recruit an experienced
Ageing Well Administrator
for an immediate start.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for many consumers, you will provide information and guidance on Ageing Well services available through Council and the broader community. You will support clients in navigating the aged care system while delivering high-quality administrative assistance across the department.
Key responsibilities: - Responding to general enquiries and providing information on available services.
- Communicating effectively with clients, family members, advocates, allied health professionals, contractors and external agencies.
- Accurately recording customer requests within Council’s Authority CRM system.
- Providing responsive administrative support to ensure service continuity across the Ageing Well team.
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives, reporting requirements, service planning, grant obligations and contract administration.
Key Criteria: - Proven experience working within a busy customer or consumer service environment with a genuine passion for helping people.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience managing challenging conversations and resolving conflict professionally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous administrative experience within local government or aged services.
- Aged care administration experience will be highly regarded.
