Public Sector People are working with a State Government organisation who are seeking an experience A07 Learning Content Lead on a 4 month contract + extension.

  • Pay from $87 per hour + Super
  • Brisbane CBD, Hybrid working arrangements (WFH & Regional offices)

About the role
  
The role will work within the Learning team to design, develop, and revise learning content, including course materials, assessments, and learning resources. This includes modernising and updating existing content to ensure alignment with organisational, regulatory, and adult‑learning standards.  
  
Role Accountabilities
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts, project team and key stakeholders across the department to source and package enterprise training material to be suitable for delivery to external contractors.
  • Develop and maintain a training plan that aligns with the agreed parameters of project success and effectiveness criteria.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and develop appropriate training solutions.
  • Design and develop training content and materials (e.g. User guides, videos, FAQs, and other resources).
  • Provide post-training support, including answering user queries and assisting with system and process adoption challenges.
  • Training evaluation and feedback, to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement or training documentation amendments.
Experience Required
  • 3+ years’ experience in training development and delivery, preferably within business improvement projects.
  • Cert IV level in Training and Assessment desirable.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), learning tools, and virtual training platforms (e.g., Atriculate, Blackboard & MS Teams).
  • Experience in the application of formalised Change Management approaches and industry best practice (i.e. PROSCI, CMI, CMBoK etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in producing high quality training and materials that meet the criteria specified with project management and learning frameworks.
