Public Sector People are working with a government organisation in Brisbane CBD, who are seeking a experienced Return to work / Injury Management Specialist on a Temp contract with opportunity to go direct with the client afterwards and apply for the permanent position within the Team.
   
The role:
Role title: A05 Workplace Health & Safety - Injury Management
Pay: $ 66.86 per hour + 11.5% Super
Location:  Brisbane CBD
Client: State Government
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: until 5th November 2025 with possible extension
Hours: 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday  - 2 days WFH
    
What you will be doing:
  1. Coordinate and manage a broad range of health, safety and wellbeing activities throughout business areas including incident and hazard management and recording, workplace inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  2. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure early intervention and optimal return to work outcomes for ill or injured staff and volunteers, including coordination of rehabilitation and workers’ compensation processes.
  3. Undertake case management services and provide advice regarding injury management, rehabilitation, and injury insurance claims processes and ensure return to work plans are developed in consultation with the ill or injured staff or volunteer.

  • Experience in managing high volume (30-40) Injury management / Return to work cases
