Job Description

An exciting Local Government opportunity to join the OHS team as a Work Cover / Return to Work Officer. As part of this role, you will assist the OHS team by effectively managing the councils work cover claims, return of injured employees and confidential records. This is a 3-month temporary contract with possibility of extension.

General Duties for this role:
  •  Managing work cover claims
  •  Managing return to work – Creating return to work plans
  • liaising with insurers, managers, and employees
  • Will arrange for the efficient and effective return to work of injured employees
The Ideal Candidate will have:
  •  Can demonstrate experience and knowledge in understanding the process of insurance claims
  •  Great written and oral communication skills
  • Is personable and can liaise with stakeholders
