Job Description

Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to a Learning Organisational Development Advisor to join a Local Government on a temporary basis.
  • Start ASAP
  • 3 Months - Remote Working
  • $40 to $55.19 per hour plus super (DOE)
  • Working with Children & Police Check Required
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic integrated learning and development model for Technology in collaboration with People and Culture and other departments across Council
  • Work with the Technology Capability and Training Officer to evaluate learning and development initiatives, and establish an ongoing method for training evaluation
  • Recommend and develop appropriate training videos with L&D tools in line with modern workplace training practices and the styling guidelines
  • Develop an internal capability matrix for the Technology department, ensuring skills and roles are mapped and reviewed against market trends
  • Produce training materials for in-house courses
  • Assist with ongoing training development through the identification of organizational and role specific training needs and deliver programs which enhance the overall capability of staff
  • National Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Consultative approach with a collaborative style
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in training and development including; conducting training needs analysis, training delivery and evaluation, competency-based learning, learning and development packages
  • Experience in workshop facilitation, presenting and delivering coaching and training to large groups
  • Experience in creating and delivering online learning
  • Demonstrated experience in creating, maintaining, and providing knowledge management resources and tools
