Job Description
Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to a Solution Architect who would be interested in an initial 3-month contract within a Local Government organisation.
This role will begin as a 3-month contract with the view to be extended another 6-months beyond that.
Key Responsibilities:
The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
- Immediate Start
- Initial 3-month contract with the view to extend another 6-months
- Flexible working arrangement (Inner Melbourne location)
- $1000 daily rate + super
This role will begin as a 3-month contract with the view to be extended another 6-months beyond that.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected.
- Provide strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture.
- Define and design technology solutions within the agreed enterprise architecture.
- Tender documentation preparation (non-functional and interface requirements gathering, capabilities matrix creation)
- Liaise with the Architecture Centre of Excellence to ensure the solution architectural proposals and work align to the agreed enterprise architecture framework and roadmap.
- Must have experience and a great knowledge of cloud migrations and SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Information Technology, Software Engineering or Computer Science)
- Experience working across the following platforms/ systems:
- Remote working virtual desktop and VPN technology
- IT Asset management software
- CCTV software and storage
- Telephony - Experience with ManageEngine (creation of architecture queue)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to engage with stakeholders and vendors.
- If successful in the role, you will be required to have an up-to-date National Police Check.
