Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to Qualified Civil Engineers for a Site Engineer position on a State Government project.

Purpose of the role: To play a key role in identifying and recording road infrastructure asset information to support effective Building Information Modelling and support the project team with the delivery of major infrastructure contracts, including site inspection of activities to support
the delivery of the project upgrade.

Responsibilities include:

• Proactively capture and record road infrastructure asset information to support effective Building Information Modelling (BIM) for the Project Upgrade.
• Maintain effective liaison and communication with internal and external stakeholders, promoting the best practice use of BIM and supporting project team members to effectively adopt the required BIM procedures.
• Ensure quality management procedures are adhered to, and where required, undertake inspection of works and release hold points during construction activities.
• Work within a project team and liaise with stakeholders, design consultants and civil contractors on PUP relocation works
• Assist in the delivery of major infrastructure contracts by supporting Project Managers with completing assigned tasks.
• Promote and contribute to a safe, healthy and sustainable workforce.

Key Requirements: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering Degree 
• Possession of current Class “C” Drivers Licence
• Experience in the delivery of road infrastructure is preferred
