Senior Workplace Health And Safety Advisor

Key Selection Criteria: 

• Significant experience delivering contemporary and practical workplace health and safety solutions and providing expert advice.
• Experience in leading a team to high performance.
• Expert knowledge of contemporary workplace health and safety issues and practices and the ability to apply these having regard for the environment local government operates in.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders to provide information and educate them on workplace health and safety matters.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including facilitation skills and the ability to prepare reports.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks within tight timeframes and the flexibility to respond to changing priorities.
• Experience in workers compensation and supporting employees return to work.
• Sound understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, regulations, and relevant standards.
