Job Description

Public Sector People are working with an outer ring metro council to the East who are currently recruiting two Senior Statutory Planners for a six month contract.
  
You will be working on a varied caseload, commercial, residential, heritage, rural and some major projects. This is a great opportunity for a statutory planner who wants to gain some exposure to major developments.
  
This council are very flexible and would consider fully remote working or 1-2 days in the offices, depending on your preference. Will also consider a strong Band 5 planner who wants to step into a Band 6 role.
  
This council are fully digital, have a great culture and provide ongoing support to their planners. If you are available for contract work but prefer to only do report- writing (in business hours) please also apply. You must be based in Victoria as you will need to collect equipment, etc.
  
Requirements include:
  • Tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Urban Studies, Environmental Planning or related discipline.
  • Must have experience working in Local Government in Victoria.
  • Excellent time management and customer service skills.
